Privacy notice

MyNodes turns a CV into a graph of skills and roles mapped to the European ESCO taxonomy. A CV is one of the densest personal documents a person owns, so this page says plainly what happens to it. It describes what the product actually does — if you find a difference between this page and the behaviour, the behaviour is the bug.

What we collect

Your email address and password, handled by our authentication provider — we never see the password. The contents of any CV you upload: roles, employers, dates, skills, education, certifications, projects and languages. The graph built from them, including which ESCO entries each node was matched to. The questions you ask about your graph and the answers given.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers or third-party analytics. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the session cookie that keeps you signed in.

The CV file itself is deleted

The PDF is stored only while it is being read — typically under a minute — and is deleted immediately afterwards, whether the reading succeeded or failed. We keep a record of the file name, its size, the date and the outcome, so you can see where your nodes came from. We do not keep the document.

Why we are allowed to process this

For your account and the operation of the service: performance of the contract you enter into by signing up. For reading your CV: your explicit consent, given with a specific checkbox before the file is read, recorded with the version of the text you agreed to. You can withdraw it at any time from your account page; withdrawing deletes the graph built from your CV.

Who else processes your data

Supabase hosts the database, authentication and file storage, in the European Union (Ireland).

Anthropic processes the text of your CV to extract structured information, and the relevant part of your graph to answer your questions. This means the content of your CV is sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.

Vercel serves the application. Resend sends account emails such as confirmation and password reset.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share individual profiles with recruiters, employers or anyone else. Any aggregated statistics we publish in future will be computed so that individuals cannot be identified from them.

How long we keep it

Your graph and account stay until you delete them — the product is only useful if it persists. CV files are deleted within minutes of being read. Deleting your account removes everything: profile, nodes, edges, questions, consent records and any remaining files. There is no backup from which we restore deleted accounts.

Your rights

You can see everything we hold, download all of it as a machine-readable JSON file, correct any node we got wrong, delete your graph while keeping your account, or delete your account entirely — all from your account page, without asking us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
